I saw a wonderful photography show this weekend at mollusk surf shop by danielle rubi. If you have time to go check it out it is fantastic. Check out the installation of the horizon lines (aka invisible thread) of the installation, brilliant.
Also her sister simone rubi and terri lowewenthal played some great electronic disco/seventies-style pop/california folk-rock in their new band RUBIES (an expansion of sf indie-pop outfit CALL & RESPONSE). So good.
